Susan Herrell, 4th Grade Teacher

My name is Susan Herrell. I teach 4th grade Math, Science and Social Studies here at Arma Elementary. I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas. I married an Arma boy in 1966. We lived in Coffeyville, Kansas for 20 years. I graduated from PittsburgStateUniversity with a BS in Education in 1988. I also received my master’s degree from PSU in 1993. I taught 4th grade in Coffeyville for 9 years before moving to Arma 8 years ago. I enjoy making trips to Dallas, Texas to visit my daughter who is also a teacher. I am a widow. I lost my dear husband Bill to cancer in 2001 so, I am avid volunteer for the American Cancer Society. I also enjoy spending my time reading, working in the yard, and watching my beloved Kansas City Chiefs. The best thing I like about my job here at Arma Elementary is the people that I work with and the students.
