Mission:The Northeast USD 246 Foundation will enhance the education of the District's youth.
Purpose:The need exists for the schools of today to have the support of the community more than ever. Connecting the school and community can create a link between private and public funds. With the support of the Foundation, the school will have resources that are not available through tax revenues.
The Northeast USD 246 Foundation has entered into an agreement with the Pittsburg Area Community Foundation. By choosing to be a fund within the Pittsburg Area Community Foundation, the Northeast Foundation still has control of contributions to the Northeast Foundation but has the expertise and the financial investment support of a larger group.
The Northeast USD 246 Foundation Advisory Council established a goal of $100,000 and has begun the process of achieving that goal. It is the Council's intention to distribute earnings from the principal to assist the District to enhance the education of our District's youth.
Gifts to the foundation may be given in various forms, including cash, properties, securities, or other tangible items. Proceeds from life insurance policies may also be directed toward the fund. Contributions are tax-deductible as 501(c)(3) gifts.
Gifts should be made payable to : P.A.C.F - Northeast Foundation
Inquires about the foundation may be directed to an Advisory Council member or Randy Rivers, Superintendent (620) 347-4116 - rrivers@usd246.org
