Third Graders practice for State Tests
by Shane Wade and Debbie Schaub
January 20, 2006
The third grade students have been embarking on a educational adventure. Each week Mrs. Schaub and I have been working on problems and situations that will help our students on the upcoming state assessments. We usually have a question of the day that pertains to a certain concept or activity that relates to a specific standard in math. By doing this, we hope that this will instill a love for math, not just in third grade, but for years to come. We have also been going to the computer lab to take practice assessments through the KCA website. We believe that with hard work, our students will benefit tremendously from this experience.
