The Northeast USD 246 Board of Education held a special meeting on Thursday, April 27th to discuss non-elected personnel and took action to approve transfers and hire new staff. The following personnel actions were approved:
Employed Kathryn Horn as NHS math teacher;
Employed Lori Pommier as Vocal teacher, NHS forensics coach and Senior Play sponsor;
Employed Derek Scroggins as NHS social studies teacher, head football and baseball coach;
Employed Doug Pittman as NHS business teacher;
Transfered Susan Lofts to NHS social studies teacher;
Employed David Bruner as NJH math teacher;
Employed Kris Rivers as NJH language arts teacher, and NHS head volleyball coach;
Transfered Jill Ashbacher to the new 1st grade position;
Transfered Alica Nunn to the new At-Risk kindergarten position; and
Employed Taryn Feldhausen as Kindergarten teacher;
