The Board accepted the resignation of Susan Bestor as NHS English teacher.
The Board employed:
- NicholaTraul as K-5 Principal and District Curriculum Leader
- Tammy Crepinsek as JH/HS Band and Vocal Music Teacher
- Annie Verga as 2nd Grade Teacher
- Dale Sanders as Junior High Math Teacher
- Debbie Barone as High School Technology Aide
- Marilyn Neil as a Cook at NES
- DawnasGorentz and Donna Musser as Food Service Substitutes
- Ken Cleland as NHS Head Girls’ Basketball Coach
- Piper James as NHS Asst. Girls’ Basketball Coach
The Board discussed options for preschool and at-risk classrooms for 2006-2007.
As a gesture of thanks and gratitude for the hard work put forth toward implementing the District's strategic plan this past year, the Northeast USD 246 Board of Education has amended the school calendar and declared Wednesday, May 24th the last day of student attendance. Certified teaching staff’s last day on duty will be Thursday, May 25th and all classified staff will be granted an extra day of paid leave on Friday, May 26th.
