Project Care...
...After School Childcare Program
by Randy Rivers
July 21, 2006
Northeast Elementary School is lucky to have an after school child care program, serving children through the sixth grade, that is sustainable and not dependent on grant funding. Project Care has operated at Northeast Elementary School since 1992. The program is currently administered by Marie Williford. (620-347-8461)
The program operates from school dismissal at 3:15 PM to 5:30 PM each day school is in session. For the program to be sustainable there is a charge for the services. The program cost is $2 per hour for the first child in a family and $1.50 per hour for each additional child in a family. The program maintains strict collection and pickup time procedures and does not extend credit. The program also accepts Kansas Child Care subsidy payments through the Vision Card program.
Please contact Mrs. Williford at Northeast Elementary school to answer your questions or to enroll your child.
