Hi! My name is Melissa Sisney. I am teaching Title Reading in grades 3-5 and sixth grade Reading. This is my first year teaching at Northeast Elementary. Previously, I taught first grade for two years and a combination fourth/fifth grade class for three years.
I was born in Girard, KS and went through school there. I graduated from Pittsburg State University in December of 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I love reading and math!
I have been married to my husband, Mike, for six years. We have a three year old son, Evan, and are expecting another child in April. I am very excited to be teaching here at Northeast!
