SPECIAL BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING
NORTHEAST UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 246
CRAWFORD COUNTY, KANSAS
MONDAY, MARCH 26, 2007 – 6:00 P.M.
The Board of Education of Northeast Unified School District No. 246, Crawford County, held a Special Meeting on Monday, March 26, 2007, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Administration Office, Arma. The following members were present:
Cindy Bedene, President
Henry Ashbacher
Tracy Goodwin
Sherry Payne-Sisney
Kevin Puckett – arrived at 6:05 p.m.
Kathryn Richard
Absent: Rae Ann Rose
Also present: Randy Rivers, Superintendent
Marilyn L. Snider, Clerk
Alan Roberts, Principal, Northeast High School
Kristy Rivers
-PROCEEDINGS OF MEETING-
I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Cindy Bedene, President.
II. ROLL CALL
Board Members Rae Ann Rose and Kevin Puckett were absent. Mr. Puckett arrived at 6:05 p.m.
EXECUTIVE SESSION – Non-Elected Personnel
Motion was made by Tracy Goodwin, seconded by Kathryn Richard, that the Board enter into Executive Session for 10 minutes to discuss Non-Elected Personnel and that Randy Rivers and Alan Roberts be present. Motion carried. Time: 6:02 p.m.
At 6:12 p.m., the Board returned to Open Session.

III. ACTION ITEMS
Board Action on Non-Elected Personnel
Motion was made by Sherry Payne-Sisney, seconded by Kevin Puckett, to hire the following teachers for the 2007-2008 school year:
Kristi L. Blair – Northeast High School Science Teacher
Jennie Lee Wright – Northeast High School Library Media
Specialist
Motion carried.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Motion was made by Tracy Goodwin, seconded by Sherry Payne-Sisney, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried. Time: 6:17 p.m.
