Hello, my name is Dennis Kimzey. I teach computer technology and keyboarding at the high school and keyboarding at the junior high level. I also help coach football. This is my second year teaching. Last year I taught technology at St. Mary’s Colgan high school.
I was born in I Iola, Ks and went to school there until 7th grade. I finished 8th-12th grade at Prairie View High School and graduated in 2003. I went to Fort Scott Community College to play football. After attending FSCC I transferred to Pittsburg State University and finished my football career and degree. I graduated in May of 2007 with a Bachelors in Technology Education. I am currently working on my Masters in Educational Technology and will graduate in the summer of 2009.
I recently got married to Christa Ruth Kimzey on May 17th 2008. We met last year at the PSU Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting. Along with coaching I enjoy running, cycling, reading, and spending time with my wife and family.
This school year has started out great and I hope it ends well. GO VIKINGS.
