Hello, my name is Phil Hobbs. I am originally from Kansas City. I attended Johnson County Community College for two years before completing my education at Pittsburg State University. I taught in the USD 247 district for 12 years. At Southeast High School I served as head track coach and assistant football coach. I also spent some time as assistant boy’s basketball coach and jr. high volleyball coach. My wife, Ashley, teaches at McCune and we have two boys, Austin and Andrew. In my spare time I enjoy golf, running, lifting weights and spending time with my family. I am excited to be at Northeast, teaching Geography and Government. I am also excited with the opportunity I have as head football coach.
