Superintendent Philpot Appointed
2008-2009 and 2009-2010

Mike Philpot was unanimously voted to stay as the Superintendent for the remaining 2008-2009 and also the 2009-2010 school years. Philpot was hired in as the Interim to replace Randy Rivers in June of 2008. “We believe that Mr. Philpot has brought strong leadership and financial expertise to our district.” Joe Broyles, Board President, said after the November board meeting.
Philpot comes to Northeast with 42 years of experience. A graduate from Baker Univers8ity, Philpot has served in the roles of Superintendent, Principal, Teacher and Coach. He completed his graduate studies at Emporia State University, Wichita State University and Western State College in Gunnison, Colo.
