Amy Christman - Librarian
My name is Amy Christman and I am the Library Media Specialist for grades pre-school through 8th grade here at Northeast Elementary and Jr. High School. I came to Northeast in 1995 after teaching Kindergarten and Fourth grades at St. Mary's in Ft. Scott, KS. I graduated from St. Marys-Colgan High School in Pittsburg, KS in 1986 and received my bachelor's in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University in 1990.
When asked to become the Librarian at Northeast, I went back to Pittsburg State and obtained my Librarian's Certificate in 1998. I returned in 2003 and earned my Master's in Educational Technology. I love reading, traveling and being with my family. I have lived in the Arma area all my life and married a Northeast graduate. My husband Paul and I have 2 children.
