Standard of Excellence Ratings...
...earned by Northeast Elementary

The Northeast Elementary School has earned the Kansas State Department of Education's "Standard of Excellence" in two subject matter areas over the past three years. The school's fourth graders have earned the standard of excellence in math for the past three years and in science the last time it was tested in 2003. Three consecutive "Standards of Excellence in math over the past three years is an impressive feat. The building report card for the 2002-2003 school year can be accessed at

The 2003-2004 report card link may be found here once the Kansas State Department of Education releases it for public view.

| 10/08/2004 | I don't feel many patrons know just what an accomplishment this is. Working for another school district, I know it is a "big deal". Hats off to the math and science teachers and to our students at the elementary level. This shows we are doing things right at Northeast when it comes to student learning. | Cindy Bedene cbedene@usd250.org Arma Parent and Board Member |
