Bogina selected to the Academic All State Cross Country Team

Austin Bogina, junior, was selected to the Academic All State Cross Country Team for class 3A. In order to receive this award, he had to be a junior or senior; have placed in the top 30 at the State Cross Country meet, hold a cumulative high school un-weighted 3.75 GPA or higher and nominated by their high school coach.
Along with this honor, Austin was the regional champion in class 3A and also placed 2nd out of 106 runners at the 3A State Cross Country meet in Wamego. He was also selected by SEK-Sports as the 2009 elite boy runner of the year.
